I graduated in Sociology from the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun (Poland) and a PhD in Sociology from the Complutense University of Madrid. I have previously worked as a researcher at the Higher Council for Scientific Research and the Center for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra (Portugal), and professor at the University of Valladolid and Complutense University of Madrid. I have been visiting researcher at the University of Bradford (United Kingdom) and Princeton University. I'm outside expert to LINET (Independent Network of Labour Migration and Integration Experts – International Organization for Migration) and FRANET (Multidisciplinary Research Network at the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights). My research interests include the problems of social and labor integration of immigrants, ethnic niches and occupational segregation, EU citizens' mobility in the context of the economic crisis.
