Profesora Titular de universidad de la ULPGC desde 1994  y de la USAL desde 2010.  En el mismo tiempo dilatada trayectoria de formación,  investigación e intercambios docentes con diversas  universidades europeas: Lieja, Milan, Turin  y Paris; y en el presente curso  con la Universidad de Sofia (Tokio). Autora del libro:” La armonía y el ritmo de una ciudad (1993) y de numerosas   publicaciones en revistas científicas en distintos ámbitos de la sociología de la cultura.
